Local women bring unique, accessible event to inspire, empower and educate women to the Midland-Penetanguishene area

The She Leads Georgian Bay 2026 team of Laurene Hilderley, Teresa Smith, Jenn Dusome, Danielle Northcott, Alison Durtnall, Jill St. Amant, Deanna Palazzo, Jackie Stott, Leanne Mountjoy, Jane Barnett, Toni Crowe, Amy Vassair, Patt Wainhouse, Susan Stapley, and Jamie-Lee Ball invites you to this all-day women’s event on Saturday May 2, 2026.

Where do event proceeds go?

We established the SheLeads Georgian Bay Scholarship Fund through the Huronia Community Foundation (HCF) in 2024. (Charitable Reg. No. 89087 5727 RR0001). HCF provides $1,000 scholarships each year to local female students from the fund on SheLeads’ behalf.

We have also given to GBGH Foundation for mammography equipment and have supported Waypoint, Askennonia Seniors Centre, Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre Cycle for Hope, Georgian College and the local AA annual women’s retreat.

A portion of the proceeds are also kept to seed future events.
